Episode 4 – Zak Keipp, Modular tech talk, and Who the hell has been mowing my lawn?

In this episode, we went a little more technical than usual but still had a blast. We talk about eruorack modular synthesizers, our setups, where we started, and how we’ve grown. We get two awesome tracks by Zak Keipp or “Chemotroph.” We fall a little / a lot off the rails and discuss Bone Thugs N Harmony, and who has been cutting my lawn?

One little side note, despite the fact we are jockin balls, none of the companies we reference paid us to say shit, we just really like our gear.

Stay tuned for more Whiskey & Wires soon!!

Episode 2 – Spencer “Spenny” Walden, Modular cases, Instagram and we don’t know anything!

In this episode we find our heros lost in a forest of dick jokes and confusing rants. We spend time talking with Spencer “Spenny” Walden (spennytacoma.bandcamp.com) and learn of his rise to synth smashing and noise gnashing. We listen to a few fun improvised synth sessions and a live version of a track off an album he’s working on. #sexwedge. Also Alia Jyawook, we forgot her name and were to dumb to just google it.

Don’t forget to check out Spenny.
